3 Free Blog Genesis Child Themes To Try Out

You just purchased the Genesis theme framework and you want to build a blog with it. The default Genesis child theme is ok. It's kind of plain though. What would really make your blog stand out though is a shiny new child theme. But do you want to shell out more cash for a premium child theme? If you have the money to spend sure. But as an alternative, you could go with one of the many free Genesis framework child themes that are available.

Since the Genesis theme framework is so wildly popular these days, there are a number of free child themes available for it. In this post, I'm going to list 3 child themes that would work really well for your next blog. So try them out for yourself, and let me know what you think of them.

Breakpoint is a sleek looking blog theme developed by Brad Potter. it features a black header and white background which makes it a very readable theme.

Fluid is a terrific child theme that can be used for any blog. It was designed by Nick the Greek. Like its name implies, this is a fluid width theme that will resize itself based on the visitors browser window.

Base is a child theme developed by Bill Erickson. While it's meant to be a base theme for other child themes to be based off of, it's actually like a nice looking theme in it's own right. Give it a try, especially if you want to make your own child theme.

What do you think of these 3 blogging child themes? Would you consider using them on your next blog? I mean, they're free to download, so why not try them out yourself.

  2. Scholes Writes Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City off Champions League Chance
Manchester United great Paul Scholes believes Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea are the only English side genuinely capable of lifting the Champions League trophy this season.
“Wednesday’s defeat for Liverpool at the hands of Real Madrid told us one thing above all,” said Scholes, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola
"That of all four English teams in the Champions League there is only one side with a realistic chance of winning it and that is Chelsea. Liverpool were outclassed by Real. Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal demonstrated why he is the best footballer in the world. It was a breathtaking finish."

  3. Scholes Thrilled to See Fellaini Score His First Goal for Man Utd
Retired Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes says he is delighted seeing Belgian ace Marouane Fellaini net his first goal for the Red Devils in their 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion days previously.
“I was pleased for Monday’s first goalscorer Marouane Fellaini, whom I got to know a little working as one of Ryan’s coaches at United last season,” said Scholes, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola
“I think there is a good chance that he will start against Chelsea, not least because he looks like the man to take care of Cesc Fabregas if Louis van Gaal decides to assign that job.”
“Fellaini is a good player. Is he an obvious choice to play in midfield for United? No. Would he be the first man you would look to as a second striker off Robin van Persie? No. But he is a great option for Van Gaal and he has hit some form.”

  4. Newcastle Duo Darlow, Lascelles Not to Be Recalled in January
Newcastle United have confirmed they will not recall Jamaal Lascelles and Karl Darlow to St James’ Park during the upcoming winter transfer window.
The duo is currently trading on loan at Nottingham Forest and will not be asked to return to the club in the next few months.
“The club are delighted to have secured both Jamaal and Karl Darlow,” Newcastle stated, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola
“While they will be big assets to the squad in future, it was not true that they could be recalled from their current loan deals until the end of the season.”
